Fact of the matter is, Black Friday has turned into an occasion for people to publicly degrade themselves and now apparently put themselves at mortal harm’s way, just so that they can exchange their dignity for a 30% discount at product that is now 6 months out of date. I refuse to partake at it.

But I don’t belittle others who choose to. Fact of the matter is, I’m single and I don’t have kids. It’s easy for me to say I won’t partake in it because I don’t want to. Others who have to shop for 3 children and in-law’s family’s Christmas gifts and all that crap, it may not be so easy to turn down such deals. So I don’t judge.

Still, my future kids will either get their gifts from Amazon, or they are not getting anything.
