T:SCC’s Summer Glau has been cast in NBC’s new costumed-hero-themed TV pilot The Cape!
THR describes her character as “a cute and intrepid investigative blogger who fearlessly goes after the corrupt cops and costumed bad guys.” Her characer’s name is Orwell, and it is said she does get physical and is “quite capable of kicking ass.”

Can you imagine if Summer Glau played the re-imagined Buffy? heheh.

I am quite fond of Mrs. Glau, but either, do something new in the buffy universes or just let it be.
I have to agree with the caveat of making a movie or season to complete Angel. I know there’s comics, but I meant live action.
Remember all those times we wished that Summer would play a normal* girl? Well, wish no more, here comes her new projects.
*normal: not a robot/no psychological disorder

The clip on this page looks interesting too. But, I don’t think this series will end Summer’s cancellation streak as it’s on NBC. They too have a nasty habit of cancelling shows I watch while letting others I don’t watch live (Journeyman, Studio 60, Life, etc.,).
well… NBC is giving Chuck and V another season… so I dunno… so far the show looks pretty interesting.
