Simeon has a remote, and even without Kinos, the remotes can act as DHDs, identifying any gates in range. Remember the episode Lost last season? Eli, Scott, and Chloe did the same thing.
That’s a tough call for me. He might go help Greer too.
He’s a wild card.
But, they’ve been travelling for months now… Scott, etc. traveled a week to catch up?
Stampede!!
Lol! Called it.
I’ll take half credit, Rush causes a stampeed taht gets the guy.
But there was a lot of serendipity involved there. And not everywhere with a gate is a place you want to go. Not to mention he doesn’t know which planet they’re on and couldn’t find it unless he just happened to come into range. And even if they did get together, the second Destiny leaves this galaxy, there’s no way home.
ETA: Moot point now.
Now I’ll take full credit, he shot the guy.
Do they have TJ’s baby?
And, did they bring back Elvis?
That was my first thought. Are they being brought there by the aliens that created the big bang?
Me too, but TV location. Honestly, I’m surprised I came up as much as I did considering that my ankle’s been acting up the past couple days (Just a couple days over 5 years since I broke it).
Watched last night as I was suffering through grading, still… even my multi-tasking skills couldn’t have handled posting at the same time
In case we forgot: Greer is aweomse.
Yeah I was confused by that. But then again the whole Lucian Alliance this is still confusing me (I’m only in S8 SG-1 and S1 SG-A).
I quite liked the touch of the stampede. I can get why shooting him would have been satisfactory, but part of me likes the idea of taking all his stuff and leaving him to die. But shooting him was good.
Rush knows from experience that being left behind doesn’t mean death…
but why was Rush such a moron in the first place thinking he was gonna hit him that far out with a 9mm? it’s not like he was a soldier or was trained to shoot… lol
Just what I said last week. They really underestimated him.
My first thot was that insects that stung Teal’c back in the day.
Well, it is difficult to find tasty meat on Destiny. lol
Yeah, I was also confused by that quote. PR = Plot required so that they had to stay on the planet and track Simeon down.
It was more than 50 % likely that he would shoot him.
Yep, also called Rush’s plan.
The Lucian Alliance only shows up in the rest of SG-1. And I think a few episodes of Atlantis. But they aren’t that interesting there. Like them how they are portrayed in SGU though.
He was trying to draw him into the middle of where the stampede was going to be. Hitting him then would have been nice, but I doubt he expected to.
i understand where you are coming from, but that logic doesn’t play out right and I had issues with this scene because of it. If someone is shooting at you, the first thing you do is take cover, not just stand there. if lack of cover, you run which would have put him out of the area.
Yeah, I agree with you there. But, Rush doesn’t often have brilliant plans that work out without a hitch. d:
