Asking Daniel to do that is a little cruel.
I can’t believe they’re making Daniel do it.
Hell, why not just shoot through the wall from the outside?
Do they really need the chest lights?
Has Sam used a staff weapon before? I agree that it’s a bit of a dick move to ask Daniel to.
How can Teal’c stand under the transporter?
Well, sure, you say that now!
Maybe it’s tied to the hammer doorway in the labyrinth?
Why not push Teal’c through the other side instead of bringing him back inside?
Thor’s people are way smarter than that.
How did they explain the Earth point of origin to the Sagan Institute people? Not something I imagine they’d put on there normally.
Or tied to an incoming wormhole. The SGC doesn’t close the iris when they have an outgoing wormhole.
I might not be around for next week’s episodes. Cousin’s moving down here and will be staying at my house until her apartment’s available and I don’t know the exact timing.
I may be able to buy that, but still.
The next disc has a featurette on Hammond…
I always figured that anybody can sport a pouch, but the Jaffa have done it for so long that they’ve evolved to not have an immune system. the symbiote works as their immune system so they don’t need one, but it doesn’t actually remove their immune system. That just happened via evolution (or breeding)
Apparently not.
Later episodes show that it’s a ritual of adulthood. Jaffa children are normal humans until they come of age and have pouches “installed”.

I forgot about Bloodlines. So after a generation the Jaffa will be free of the need for tretonin. They should have mentioned that in the series at some point (or made it more obvious, if they did mention it).
