But Sarlacs aren’t known for their therapy skills.
Therapy? Make it so angry that it throws a temper tantrum? And then abandon it while it’s screaming about how lonely it is?
Is that “tough love” therapy?
Which is really a shame, because they’re such good listeners.
I love the logical approaches that you take with these silly match ups.
Sounds like the two would be a perfect match. If the Sarrlacc swallowed Armus it would live for years inside the Sarrlacc’s huge stomach.
Next Round
Spock VS. Yoda aka Logic VS. Wisdom
I remember liking that episode. And I liked how Picard talked the Tar Pit into submission.
Sheesh. You men are all alike, Lady D. You’re never happy unless things are resolved with violence. Oh, wait… I’m all mixed up now…
How else could we consider such decisions of great import?

A good win-win solution that works for everyone. Nice.
Next Round
Spock VS. Yoda aka Logic VS. Wisdom
Physical conflict? Or pure logic vs. wisdom?
Physically, Spock is no match for Yoda. Telekinesis, lightsaber, acrobatics, and lightning attacks versus superhuman strength and a neck pinch? No contest.
Logic vs. wisdom… Tricky…
I have to agree with the physical card. Although, you have to wonder if OT Yoda could still pull off amazing feats like he did in the PT. Especially, since in the OT the lightside of the force is diminished.
Logic VS. Wisdom
I’d have to go with wisdom. In some circumstances approaching a problem and solution logically could cause great harm without considering the consequences. Wisdom gives one the proper insight and judgment one needs to choose the proper course of action.
actually, it was the “make it feel its pain so it gets all weak” that bugged me. I thought Armus was a lame villain. and he had a stupid voice. it was like, Denise wants out of the show–quick, someone think of a way to kill her off! and nobody was feeling very inspired that day.
plus Troi was particularly annoying in that episode
He could still levitate an X-Wing out of the mud. When 900 years old he reach, do that Spock could?
Especially, since in the OT the lightside of the force is diminished.
It took me a second to figure out what you were talking about.
I couldn’t remember ever reading about Yoda in the Old Testament.

Plus, Yoda’s convoluted syntax and grammar would probably melt Spock’s brain. Assuming he has it with him that day.
Really, let it out. It’s not healthy to bottle up your feelings like that.
LMAO
Heh, Yeah that is some of my old Star Wars forum lingo creeping in there. PT=Prequel Trilogy OT=Original Trilogy
Now that is a mind meld I’d pay to see.
New round…
The lady’s man.
Lando Calrissian VS. Commander Riker
Riker sure knows how to play the trombone…
must…resist…saying…
IYKWIM
Sorry - it couldn’t be helped…
Is it rusty?
Riker day. Riker night. Riker anytime. Lando’s just a scoundrel. Even if Lando shows up on Risa with the Falcon, it’s still Riker!
Yeah Lando can say lines like “You look absolutely beautiful. You truly belong here with us among the clouds.”
But Riker just smiles and closes the deal.
Lando Calrissian : Smooth, cool, debonaire.
Commander Riker: Plays a trombone.
Riker’s one true love was a hologram…
That’s an easy one. Lando Calrissian is smooth, charismatic, and cooler than the other side of the pillow. He’s also handsome and a snappy dresser (totally working the cape), not to mention that he rules a flying city!!! And yet, other than Leia (who’s clearly “just a friend”), we never see him with any women. hmm…
Not even one of the good ones like the Delta Quadrant is apparently full of.
