Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope

“I used to bullseye womp rats…”

Killing animals as a child is often a sign of becoming a serial killer.

Or mass murderer, in this case.

Well, he does kill everyone in the Death Star.

A couple hundred thousand people at least, and who knows how many are were prisoners or contractors? (See: Clerks)

Never liked the Biggs scene. Always seemed forced…um…no pun intended.

Would have been better if they added the scenes with Biggs on Tatoonine as well.

Prisoners would have been killed anyway.

OK. The Death Star Battle is OSSIM!!!

“Cover me, Porkin.”
heavy set guy responds

I never noticed that…

The new graphics for the briefing are sweet and fit in well.

That reminds of a favorite line from one of the books (Thrawn trilogy? Maybe?)

“The galaxy is littered with the body parts of those who underestimated Luke Skywalker.”:cool:

So why did the Death Star have to wait until the moon came into view? Wouldn’t blowing up the gas giant accomplish the same goal?

“It came from behind…”

That’s what she said. :groucho:

You’re not the first nor last to say that.

That too. d:

That was in:

Oh, and the new Death Star hologram over the status table, sweet too.

I love the “scream” of the TIE fighters. It’s almost as unsettling as that of Shadow vessels.

Maybe it was too big. Think Jupiter. The Death Star is only the size of a moon. It would only pick apart a gas giant and by-products of the explosion might hit the Death Star.

I do prefer the special edition space FX, but that’s about it.

One of the things the Special Edition added that I liked - the opening of the X-wing’s X wings.

The music was tweeked here, right? It’s definitely creating more of a sense of ominous dread than usual, IMO.

Yeah. I loved all the subtle changes.
