“Ooooo, that’s beautiful.” --mrs. talos

Watto is one of the best characters in this.

A moisture farmer named Lars?

What are the chances?

Love the seismic charges. I know it makes no sense but it’s seriously cool. Reaaly dug it in the theatre.

Seismic charges!

Before the prequels came out, I was under the impression that Owen Lars was Obi-wan’s brother or step-brother. So, that was the backstory ingrained in me.

What!?! No blue milk!?!

I always thought he was Anakin’s brother.

Sign this treaty and feel the full power of the Dark Side!

Oh, George. What happened to you, man? :frowning:

Techno-Union = steampunk Borg?

Now why would they have her tie up there all spread-eagle-like?

Oh.

Now I figured after watching this film that Anakin had started down the path to the Dark side. I figured they would exploit it more with him being disenchanted with the Jedi. I figured there would be a scene where he blamed them for Shmi’s death and his instablity.

Oh well.

Way to go, Obi-Wan.

What? You couldn’t bother to check in on her in the past 10 years?

This reminds me of Kevin Uxbridge. :frowning:

This scene gets me every time. So sad. :frowning: Poor Shmi.

“Young Skywalker is in pain, terrible pain.”

Which leads to suffering. Which leads to the Dark Side!

During production of Episode II, a promotion went out to vote for the design of R4. I voted for the finished product.

The look that says, “First chance I get, I’m gonna burn you alive. You and your blue milk!”

giggle

“You’re not all-powerful, Ani.”
“Well, I should be!”

Now that’s a can-do attitude!
