Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Obi-Wan, grabbing the droid? Really? Does that seem like a good idea to you?

How the frak could they find anything?

Oh yeah. Jedi.

Someone had to do the stoopid thing. Anakin was busy oogling Padme.

This is why we’ll never have flying cars. People can barely stay inside the lines when they’re only moving in one dimension, much less three.

“This is a shortcut. I think.”

“That sounds like you, honey.” --mrs. talos

A female pilot? And she hasn’t even hit the planet yet?

“I am deeply sorry, Master.”

The scene works better without that line. If you just loooked around and then jumped out.

I know. They would have to be automated with pre-plan flights.

This is already more exciting than the first hour of Phantom Menace.

“I don’t want to sell you death sticks.”

I want to show you the lady in the red dress.

“Why do I get the feeling that you’re going to be the death of me?”

Foreshadowing! Uh…

Backshadowing…?

“Jedi business. Go back to your drinks.”

We’re sure they’re the good guys, right?

“Who hired you? Tell us.”

In the book, it’s explained that Anakin was using the dark side of the Force at that moment to get the information.

Doesn’t show in the film.

Yes, put the powerful young padawan with poor emotional control in close quarters with the queen he’s in love with.

It’s like they planned this, all along.

Yeah. These Jedi are so wise. Are we supposed to think they trust the Force to make decisions or…I don’t know. It makes no sense.

“Anakin, you’ve grown up.”

Perhaps I should count uncomfortable line deliveries.

So, what do you think it means to bring the Force into balance?

I always took it as bringing back the power of the Dark Side. The light side ruled as gods for far too long already.

“Anakin, may the Force be with you.”

And also with you.
