Not really. Basically he is like the typical politician who claims to be something different, or just one of us common folk, but in the end, just business as usual. Sometimes I think that sort believes there own bull shit.
I mean sending like creating a cloud and throwing it in Anakin’s direction, no. But I remember reading somewhere that he controlled what happened to Shmi too… maybe he sets up the situations and then Anakin gets the dreams from the Force?
