LOL Uhura speaking Klingon! That reminds me of a fun story from my seder. One of the attendees was commenting how the way some of us mangled Hebrew sounded like Klingon. And half of us burst out laughing. (We weren’t very somber at this seder. And none of us are Jewish, so that makes it different too).
Nichelle Nichols didn’t want to do this scene either. She said as a communications officer, she should know a major language like Klingon. She would have never used a translation book.
