So if Spock is half human and Sybok is all Vulcan, why does Sybock look more human than Spock?
And wtf why is that Romulan ambassador lady there

There are…fi…four lights!
I meant about the amount of decks on the Enterprise.
Or watching myself be born!
You know, I completely didn’t realize that undertone was in this movie. Of course, it’s been a very long time since I last watched it.
Agreed. In a better movie, he might well of have been one of the more interesting characters in Trekdom. Alas, here, not so much.
Awwwwwwwwww snap. Go Spock!
“So human”
And Bones too…
Guy Love prevails!
Sybok embraced his emotions and researched Vulcan’s past. He found some ancient powers the Vulcans had. That knowledge gives him the power to heal people. I read that somewhere, maybe the novel.
The only explaination I have for the Romulan is that Nimbus III was setup as part of the Neutral Zone treaty. All the major gov’ts needed to be accounted for, Federation, Klingon, Romulan.
oh noes! beware the high-contrast colorized smoke!
apropos of life as a dream

Un frenesi.
¿Qué es la vida?
Una ilusion,
una sombra,
una ficcion.
Y el mayor bien
es pequeño,
que toda la vida es sueño,
y los sueños sueños son.
I remember a big cheer going up in the movie theatre when McCoy says “I guess I’ll stay here too” (or whatever it was he said.)
Because he rejected logic for emotion. Why, exactly, is never really explained.
And wtf why is that Romulan ambassador lady there
Basically so there would be someone there to say the Romulan name for heaven.
2 + 2 = 5
I meant about the amount of decks on the Enterprise.
Oops. Sorry, misread.
I thought the lady who took Spock to his dad at his birth was the same lady as the ambassador (obviously chronology doesn’t work but still). my confusion!
“Eden”
Sebok is hard to dislike.
Got it all except “frenesi”. 'Splain?
Uh, so they changed OUT of their away-team duds to go to the surface?
Kirk doing something by the book?
and the shuttle is called copernicus? I like it.
There’s a road in heaven?
