Star Trek: The Next Generation 7x15 Lower Decks

I love this bit. You’re from Canada, right?

“My grandfather was from Canada.”

Nice, Lavelle. Nice.

“My grandfather was Canadian. Aren’t you one, too?”

“A grandfather?”

“Did you crash the ship into something?” LOL Foreshadowing.

Ron Wilkerson remarked, “Again, like our “Lessons”, what was important was not the mission but the relationships of the people. What it is like to work for Riker, to work for Worf, to wonder what goes on in secret briefings in the observation lounge?”

It’s a great idea and worthy of a final season episode, a new perspective on old familiar places.

She’s so tiny!

I love how Picard does not pull any punches here. A good commander. Test their merit.

Yeah Lavelle just bugs me. Ugh.

I love when she fights Worf later. Baby Alexander is bigger.

It’s honestly one of my favorite episodes of the series, period, and in my top ten of overall Trek episodes.

Okay Hive Mind. Answer me this: Why do the lower deck dudes have uniforms that have zippers down the middle of their uniforms? But the main regulars— Picard, RIker, Geordi, etc. dont’?

Picard is just angry about that incident with anyone.

… can’t people grow? learn?

It’s up there for me. Maybe in my top 20 perhaps.

“Sir, I’m a little puzzled.”

“Probably because you’re not a senior officer.”

Geordi, don’t try that with a Vulcan.

No wonder you can’t get a date.

Away mission fodder. They ran out of redshirts during Kirk’s era.

I’d be angry too. If I was her Captain I’d want to hear from her face to face how she felt about what she did. And, yeah, probably she should have been expelled. Enterprise is an elite crew.

Rank hath its privileges.

He’s just testing her.

Logical. Flawlessly logical.

Love the back and forth during the poker game.
