So true. His last relationship lasted almost half an hour. 
and then his relationship was with his ship… that was the premise of the last episode, right?
‘quantum mechanics is overstaffed anyway’ we totally hear that phrase EVERY DAY, amirite?

I have very mixed feelings about that episode.
OK, that makes sense. I was trying to remember why they needed a stellar cartographer down on a planet.
in contrast with the earlier episode, this one I remember clearly. for the music, and then also the shots of Daren’s team on the planet were quite visually memorable for me
I remember it especially because of Darren complaining about his nocturnal beverage choices. I think of it whenever I have a cup of tea at night.
see the women’s hairdos are ridiculous! they even look terrible when they’re “disheveled,” and not because of the dishevelment
It’s the future! They should be bald. 
so Picard finds love! but they must separate because evidently Starfleet doesn’t believe in work/life balance for its Captains or the people they love
an… interesting? combination of episodes tonight. off to sleepytown I go, gnight Badger!
At least she got to have a career instead of just being “his girl”.
