Star Trek: The Next Generation 6x14 Face of the Enemy

Dead guy who is alive in a box episode. Firefly.

K. The Human Romulan traitor looks like Bob Denver with a bad haircut.

Oh. Of course.

Yeah, it’s fabulously bad.

N’Vek did it all on his own.

It’s the curse of siding with the Romulans :stuck_out_tongue:

Toreth is a smart captain. Sucks she’s on “the other side.”

Indeed! I like her. I hope she survives the ep!! (haven’t seen this one!)

Based on information that Troi gave him.

Still, it’s not a crash, per se, so I guess it should count separately.

“I’ll have you ejected into space! Is that clear, Sub-Commander?!”

Troi’s gone mad with power!

In this, sir, you’re a mook :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve been kidnapped, surgically altered, put in danger…
YES TROI assert yourself.

Bah. She’s a menace, and you know it.

I’ve been kidnapped, surgically altered, put in danger…
YES TROI assert yourself.

But that means she’s defying the will of Spock. :frowning:

As much as I love Spock, I hate that Troi lost her bodily autonomy in the service of this mission.

That said - I love episodes like this. Political intrigue, danger, double talk.

I love that vaporization effect.

And here is why Toreth’s great. She gets the tech stuff and discovers N’Vek.

And she killed a traitor to the Empire! Yay! :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh. Wait. :frowning:

So I don’t get how this establishes a Romulan defection “pipeline,” so to speak.

N’Vek, meh.

It’s nice to have an “enemy” captain be so capable, though.

Troi will pretend to be Tal Shiar every time they need to do this. They’re probably going to run out of expendable sub-commanders fairly quickly, though. :frowning:
