“Deanna, I love you, but you do make everything sound like an epitaph.”

“Of course he’s unreasonable. He’s a child.”

“Contract? What contract?”

Hehe. DId I say I lurve Lwaxana?

Same here, Mr Talos

Lwaxana’s not buying this either. Her and Mr. Wolf have that in common at least.

“And if you don’t perform your duties, what is the child supposed to do about it?”

She makes a good point.

Klingon trumps everyone. Imagine what happens when Klingon DNA finds another DNA.

“Nothing would please me more than to give away Mrs. Troi.”

Hello cleavage!!

“Nothing will please me more than to give away Mrs. Troi” muwahaha.

Lwaxana’s ridiculous, befriending a strange child like this… but wait, Lwaxana’s always ridiculous. This is totally in character.

lol. I just got a visual of a DNA Strand with a microscopic Bat’leth.

“Come rest in my busoms, Alexander.”

“It’s not very fair, is it?”

When I watched this the first time, Gene Roddenberry had just passed away. I may be stretching but I could feel Majel’s sorrow in this episode.

ETA:

Lwaxana’s line of dialogue in which she tells Alexander, with noticeable sadness, that she is alone, likely had personal significance for Majel Barrett-Roddenberry, who lost her husband, Gene Roddenberry, only a year earlier.

“When you tell the truth, you never have to remember later what you lied about.”

Someday, I will teach my nephews that lesson. Lwaxana and I have very similar viewpoints on raising other people’s children. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh what a bad influence this lady is.

She has a marvelous laugh. What a beautiful woman. sniff I miss her.

That bubble man always weirded me out.

She does have an enchanting laugh.

I find Lwaxana talking to the computer to be delightful.

Alexander’s quite self-reflective when he notices that he tries to follow the rules but can’t always. That’s very astute for his age.

I love that Lwaxana calls him “my little warrior”

This place is very “Alice in Wonderland”
