Yeah. Not really different from Vulcan/Human except for the hair thing, I guess.
Was that a deleted scene or something from a novelization? I don’t recall that.
In any case, I’d imagine that all Romulans would be in mourning after their planet was destroyed.
Now, didn’t he already order the Romulan to be beamed up?
Wait. I thought he was dead.
Not sure. But that was the original idea. They’d basically henna those patterns on, and when they wore off, their grieving period was over. That crew tattooed them on.
Should have pointed out earlier that the idea to have the bridge damaged was genious. Saved on a big set.
And we get “Space…” for the closing.
Pity it’s a two-parter.
Well, we got a little final frontier action at the end there.
I like it. It’s pretty well done. Will there be more?
I haven’t really gone through the site in detail yet.
Damn that’s a lot of credits. I guess that’s why it looks so good.
You can’t make an omelet without a lot of cooks.
Or something like that.
There’s supposed to be a followup, yeah. And it looks like maybe one after that? Not clear from the site.
The site is worth a look-through.
Definitely a labor of love. I’m glad that CBS or Paramount hasn’t unleashed the hounds of C&D.
There was a fan-campaign to get CBS or whomever to make them the next franchise. They had to put out a statement to the effect of “Hey, thanks, but to be clear we didn’t start this campaign.”
It’s good that somebody’s keeping the torch alive at least after they drove the franchise into the ground (Abramsverse notwithstanding).
Thanks for joining me tonight. I’ve got to get some sleep. Good night.
I didn’t. I thot it was Thursday night for some reason. UGH!
I did also. Somebody (I think Frakes) mentioned that they always filmed the Enterprise right-side-up, he wanted to change that, “It’s space. You can fly anyway you like!”
That’s how I saw it.
It was really well done and it added much story element.
eX-act-Ly
He was. Was that a camera effect? He looked 8 feet tall!
They used some clever camera positions, but it almost wasn’t necessary. He’s a REALLY big dude.
See this vignette (he’s playing a holodeck construct here)
