Star Trek New Voyages: Phase II 1x03 World Enough and Time

Huh. Odd. If I hear some say ‘tech’ I assume they know something about tech.

Makes it feel like a TV show. Weird how we’re so accustom to it.

I say that too. :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t know. I’m a puzzle. I guess it doesn’t bother me when you say it, cuz you’re a real Trekkie.

TREKKER!

giggle

“And just what did he tell ya?”
“That he wouldn’t want to be your liver.”

I call myself a Trekspert cuz I know everything

Flirting with Spock.

That’s more like it. :groucho:

George Takei knows how to react to the mind meld more authentically than the actor playing Spock does (tho he’s doing fine)

I’m that guy who wants to slap those girls (and they usually are for some reason) that insist on “Trekker.”

Me too. I always thot the “Trekker” thing was dumb.

This Spock is pretty good. Shame he leaves later.

Although, to be fair, the girls who got bent out of shape about ‘Trekker’ were the ones actually hosting conventions and producing fanzines et al.

I’ve never understood why people insist there’s a difference. Other than the whole “that’s their word and this is our word” thing.

Ah. I was trying to remember if this was the old Spock or the new.

Oh! Mentioning Edith Keeler! That’s very un-Star Trek TOS to make a reference to an earlier episode like that (not there’s anything wrong with that.)

Wars have been fought over just such a thing. The irony is that ‘trekkie’ is OUR word. They just lost sight of that.

Also, this trekker is hawt.

I never felt being a huge Star Trek fan needed a label.

There are people kinda scary-obsessed with Star Trek that I guess need to be called Trekkies or whatever. Eh, I’m babbling.

Those people are 'Trekkers." Said while you back away.

Damn, George looks good.

Spock, that was a flirty thing to say to the girl.

“It is grammatically incorrect to place a modifier before the word unique…”

And I say they’re TREKKIES !!! (as a grab for my gun)

Semi-materialzed Girl has semi-materialized desires!
