The biggest beef I got sick of hearing during this time of Trek was, “Where was the Enterprise during the Dominion War?” Ugh!
They wanted a Dominion War movie.
This was the first Trelk movie to go all-GGI with the ship.
That meant it could fly through some interesting backgrounds.
I’m glad they didn’t go that way.
