Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan Frak Party 3/27 @ 10 PM ET

We shoulda warned ya, Rachel! Sorries.

Yeah, beautiful work. CGI is only beginning to outpace it.

OMG, you’re right. I never put that together before.

Interesting move to take the intro to the series to the end of the movie.

Great film. I definitely enjoyed it. It even could stand by itself. Bravo.

now I have to dig out my copies of those old Star Tracks cds to listen to the theme over and over again

Spock said, “There are always possiblities.”

Studio Execs always say, “There are sometimes sequels.”

Oh noes, Rachel - had you not seen it before?

We so shoulda warned ya.

Goodnight everybody. That was great fun.

The night is still young for me, here on the West Coast, so I’m outa here. I had a great time — see you around.

Frenchie

I think my soundtracks from the first 3 are on cough LPs cough

Funny. I believe this was the first film to use CGI.

I’m not sure I can go back to a TOS episode after that…

I’m definitely looking forward to the podcast on this film, though!

Ok, I loved it! You guys may know what you’re talking about…

I need to join the Frak parties more often - I’ll be on OG in no time (even if I have been around since before the forum)

Of course I won’t be home next weekend

Even better

Going to another con?

Goodnight, NBTR!

Gryper, I think my Dad had them on LPs (the actual scores). But he had the Cincinnati Pops cds and we listened to them all the time when I was but a wee lass.

I will give you a list of must-see TOS.

EDIT: Given your comments about the episode(s) you’ve seen I’ll have to adjust to ones you would really enjoy.

Nope- I have now seen a total of 1 episode (Space Seed this morning) and this movie in the entire ST universe.

Well, I’ll be away this weekend. My wife’s grandmother is celebrating her 90th birthday and we’re all going to Mohegan Sun. Should be fun. I have to drive so I must be off to bed.

It was so much fun to have all y’all joining in on the Trek goodness.
