I have to say, the story is really great, but the pre-'70s Doctor Who scenery, costumes, and special effects are terribly distracting.
I know what you mean. I’m almost used to it now, though.
“Dancing in the Dark” is a clever nod to TOS, IMO.

Certainly enjoyable enough, in any case. I do find myself wanting to know what happens next. Good to see that there’s a seventh season as well.
