I was listening to the Ron Moore commentary track on this earlier today. It was awesome hearing him say at the beginning “Hello, this Ronald D. Moore …” just like on the BSG podcasts.

Riker sure seemed to really enjoy saying “Fire”.
I love the explosion scenes when they can afford to get some real stuntmen. None of that jostling left and right with sparks flying. Nope, big boom, followed by guy being launched through the air. Awesome.
Is it bad that the rock Soran and Picard are on look JUST like all the planets Kirk lands on that don’t look like Shore Leave? 
Prepare to seperate the ship? Can’t wait to see that!

It’s funny they separated a lot in the first season or so of TNG as I recall, and then it’s like, wait it can do that? lol
