Star Trek: Deep Space Nine 2x23 Crossover

[li]The teaser scene in which the two Klingon soldiers board the runabout is intentionally shot from extreme angles, which director David Livingston compared to essentially shooting up the actors’ noses. He did this intentionally to emphasize how different things were in the mirror universe. During the preproduction period of this episode, Livingston watched the 1949 Carol Reed movie The Third Man for inspiration, although he has admitted that he may have gone too far in using radically different angles.

Who doesn’t know about Kirk? Seriously?

Yeah the concluding scenes of the Enterprise mirror episodes was one of my favorites moments in all Star Trek

He “may have gone too far in using radically different angles”?? Um, ya did, dude

Where no one has gone before - up a Klingon’s nose!

Emperess Sato?

I loved the Enterprise Mirror Universe episodes. Empress Sato FTW! :stuck_out_tongue:

But how would Sisko or O’Brien even end up here?

I was being coy, I don’t know if someone else will read this who hasn’t seen Enterprise. Wouldn’t want to spoil that for them

(hmmm maybe a re-watch of that is in order…)

There’s always this set: http://www.amazon.com/Star-Trek-Alternate-William-Shatner/dp/B001AII4RC

Both the Intendant and Janeway enjoy a bath. Interesting.

That bath looked marvelous.

“what shall we wear?” oh Intendant. You devil, you.

“Explore your pagh, or whatever!”

That reminds me, tomorrow is Pagh Day!

With all the twists in that episode, it’s not much of a spoiler.

(hmmm maybe a re-watch of that is in order…)

We’ll get there, eventually.

But not together, since Voyager never explored the Mirror Universe.

Mmm, pagh. :stuck_out_tongue:

“Ter-rons”

That annoys me. :eyebrow:

Not according to Susan Wright, author of the trashiest Star Trek novels: http://www.susanwright.info/trek.html

yeah it was odd there.

This is a really interesting way to conceive of a mirror Sisko - he’s so anti-oppression based on race in “our” universe, and he can’t be bothered to care until Kira Nerys comes along in the mirror universe. hmmmm.

House of Duras?! Ew!

I totally had a dress in the 90s that was not dissimilar in design and color to the purple one Kira is wearing. Just saying.

'splodey Odo! gross!
