trek technical question: so in voyager Tom Paris does the whole transwarp thing (which is warp 10+?), so when they talk about going past warp 9.5, they’re only talking about the rang 9.51-9.999…?
How come when Picard’s Enterprise goes faster than Warp 9.5 he doesn’t shoot out of the Galaxy.
