Star Trek 3x01 Spectre of the Gun

Good point. Low budget by this time.

Some more successful than others.

Ever been to Tombstone?

I think they were sets from old westerns. Normally, they’d only be shot from the front, so as not to ruin the illusion.

Makes sense.

It amuses me, also, that Earp has such beady eyes…

No, but I would surely love to!!

uh oh. those belts are really to keep them inside the electric fence, aren’t they

I’m surprised that they’d all so be so quickly familiar with what a “mortar and passle” are. McCoy I can see, but the others?

Right! But the way they use them here is awesome!

Doc Holiday.

Val Kilmer was my favorite Doc Holiday.

The guy who plays Morgan Earp also played J’onn (the rock collector on Nimbus III) in Star Trek V.

Doc Holiday was a dentist. But he retired from dentistry cuz he couldn’t very well practice it cuz he coughs so much (chronic tuberculosis I think?)

What would we do without you, 'Talos?

ooooh! Tombstone frakparty!!

Now that, I actually knew.
I think he died.

that’s an interesting bonnet. Who calls it for the Trek costume party?

I think you are right.

Not just the sets but the actors as well.

The bartender Ed and the Rancher spent their careers in Westerns.

Me me me me!!!

Awesome, deal me in, partner!!

wow!! I see it now!! you are amazing, talos!

The only guy with two guns gets shot.
