I’m frightened to admit how much I’m enjoying watching them all for the first time! I just checked, and after tonight, there’s only one season 1 ep I haven’t seen: The Alternative Factor. I’m nearly caught up! Whoo hoo!
I must be better at suspending disbelief than the average person, because these things don’t bother me so much. I just figure it’s fiction and I roll with it. But I can totally see how it would bug ya.
Me three! I couldn’t believe when they said they didn’t like them. IMO, the remastering has been fairly subtle overall. Definite improvement.
Nope. Season 2 begins next week. Guess I better start working on threads.

It’s definitely been subtle. And in every case, I sense that it ends up looking how the creators of TOS—Roddenberry and his crew—WOULD have wanted it to look if they had the technology to do so.
