“Serenity” was the original pilot. Fox wanted more action, so they ordered “The Train Job”.

That’s what I really love about the novels and what they did in the fourth season of Enterprise.
I always wanted a pair of those silver contacts when I was a kid. They were probably made with mercury back then, of course, so that’s probably a really bad idea.
