Star Trek 1x01 The Man Trap

love the quarter strength phaser hit to Crater–pew!

If anything can be said about this episode its that it was a deviation from the norm. Star Trek shows the motive behind the creature. You begin to feel and sympathize for it.

Of course, Kirk kills it. Change takes time.

Not all Seelixes are alike, TG. We’re not frakkin skinjobs.

Yeah, he was in astrophysics in WNMHGB

That sound effect was never used again.

What did they did it out from a Western?

Seelix was hotter with the shorter hair. Are we all together on that point?

The Triangular vid-conferening unit on the briefing room table was a brilliant TV idea.
It lets the audience see how’s on the screen too.

There is no topgun but Topgun, and Lady D is his prophet.

You see, Badger. You see! It’s ALWAYS a love story.
The creature needs love, not just salt.

Agreed. The Cally-hair wasn’t bad, though.

Truth serum.

Spock knows something is up. He’s a smart guy. Did you see the ears?

Spock spoiled the milk.

Looks like it needs salt more than love. Bye Dr. C.

Just imagine waking up and the Captain is holding a phaser at someone you love.

Vulcam strength, but he can’t rip the phaser out of McCoy’s hands

Kirk is talking to her like a dog! ROFL!

LOL. I caught that too. “Here Nancy. Here girl. Come and get it.”

Although salt is a greater motivator, obviously.

Very zombie moment, how she slowly reaches for Kirk.

“If she was Nancy could she take this!?!”

This has sorta a ‘City on the Edge of Forever’ moment for McCoy.

A lotta deaths in the 'sode.
