Kirk would have been more impassioned. Riker and everybody were so blase about the whole thing. Kirk would have grabbed people and shook them, “Don’t you know, you’re not real. This. Whole. Place is. Not. Real. Damn you!” Probably smashing some drinks and throwing over a table in the process. Eventually Spock would calm him down and figure out the puzzle. Kirk would then go down to the tables, hit on Vanessa, and have Spock go all Rain Man at the Blackjack table. There would be some entertaining banter offered by Spock during the montage so at the end of the episode McCoy could say, “You know Spock? I think you were enjoying yourself down there.” Spock would, of course protest followed by the bridge crew laughing at the green pointed-eared freak
