Levar asked if they could “fix” his eyes. This repair Pulaski talks about never gets brought up again. It’s said that Geordi became an inspiration for the disabled like Uhura did for black women.
Riva goes from being a pompous prig to a big baby.
Certainly not as out there as Remick, but probably on par with Wrath of KHAAAAAAAN!
Which they just pissed away in the movies.

When I first saw this, when Riva signs Thank you to Data. I thot he was blowing a kiss to him.
He still had them funky contacts. He could track Zefram Cochrane.
Well, he is fully functional.
And Riva’s deaf, not dead!
