It’s difficult with this episode driven mostly by the supporting staff. I don’t think Kirk would have had a problem with Lwaxana’s advances. Yet I can’t help thinking Mrs. Troi would’ve been interested in the Vulcan. 
It’s probably a reference to Queen Victoria.
Which of course makes no sense, because he’s supposed to be French.

Obviously, Bones would have found a cure for the disease in under an hour, and then Kirk would have gotten the girl.
Barring that, Kirk would have given an impassioned speech on the rights of the terminally ill and forced the people of Haven to accept the Terrellians, Prime Directive be damned.

Definitely right there. She would have sensed those tumultuous, buried Vulcan emotions and been completely enthralled.

We could even use the same scenarios as the Fantasy/Sci-Fi game.
