“Variables of a successful marriage.”
That’s improbability math. No?

“Would you like a pillow?”
I have noticed that humans are inherently lazy and prone to sleeping at least 30% of their lives, so pillows are often warranted.
Awww, Data wants to one day get married. Awww.
Don’t ask me. I was a psych major.
Wait. Am I ahead? Where are you?
This was the first appearance of Keiko O’Brien. She makes several more appearances in TNG, before becoming a regular recurring character in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. This episode also depicts her marriage to Miles. It is also revealed that it was Data who introduced the two.
UGH! They created the most annoying wife EVAH! Not sure if that was on purpose. They’d never admit it anyway.
Probably.
Where are you?
About 1:30 into part 3.
ETA: Data’s going to see T’Pel.
“Perhaps it would be beneficial to teach me the final lesson.”
Gates McFadden and Brent Spiner did their own dancing in this episode, except for one overhead shot where Spiner requested a double, as he did not feel confident enough to pull it off. McFadden did the choreography, as she was a well-known Hollywood choreographer long before Next Generation. According to director Robert Wiemer, McFadden and Spiner also developed the lines in the scene, which were later accepted by the scriptwriters.
T’Pel was visibly surprised. Even Data would notice that.
“Lead where, doctor?”
Best straight man, EVAH!
Now why couldn’t Data just learn how to dance from the holodeck?
Yeah. I’m way ahead. Tell me when Data smiles while dancing with Bev and she leaves to delivery a baby.
This was also the first appearance of Data’s cat, Spot.
This episode marks the first night watch seen on screen; although it does explain the difference in bridge lighting in several previous episodes.
I’m there.
“Computer. Create dance partner. Female.”
Love the smile!
I want a holodeck. I wouldn’t use it to dance, though.
Is Riker hitting on that security officer?
That is some outfit on T’Pel.
Romulan bitca!!
Considering how the dance partner is dressed (and Data’s creepy smile), I just imagine him getting fully functional with her after the lesson.
More fan fiction!
Of course. I imagine future starships will be manned entirely with Riker’s illegitimate progeny.
