Also, that’s awesome that Saul Rubinek was a Trekkie.

“I couldn’t begin to calculate the odds! If Data were here…”

…then those odds really wouldn’t matter, would they?

Did that alien just pick his nose?

I don’t know. He seems to have nostrils all over his head.
I know. I know. I sound like a xeno-bigot

Tricyanide? That’s like three times worse than regular cyanide!

I love Data mimicing the Mona Lisa. That’s the Data we love.

Heh. He has La Gioconda. :stuck_out_tongue:

There are a lot of Earth artifacts here.

And yet no BSG Complete Series Boxed set

Only because they’re not rare in the 24th century.

This is long before the DVD Apocalypse of 3162.

[li]Writer Shari Goodhartz related, “I asked Brent Spiner whether he thought Data purposefully pulled the trigger or not, and he was adamant that Data did fire the weapon, which was my intent as well, but the powers-that-be wanted that kept ambiguous, so it was. If I had a chance to do it over, with all the experience I have behind me now, I would argue passionately for Data’s actions and their consequences to have been clearer, and hopefully more provocative.”

Interesting.

Do you think they ever considered a sequel to this episode? This guy seemed like a good villian.

Kind of a one-trick pony though. He wasn’t even really evil, just spoiled and self-indulgent. Plus, I like to think that he ended up on Rura Penthe and never escaped. :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice. I like that idea.

Well, you have good night. This was fun, as always.

Good night, Thot. I’ll most likely kill you in the morning. :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice. Well, that’s the job of a good nemesis I suppose. Sweet dreams.

I knew about Mr. Rappaport’s tragic suicide having read the Companion (I watched ‘Time Bandits’ after reading it way back when). But I had not heard about the director’s comments. I mean, that’s pretty cold. There was a loss of life and you’re worried about your stupid sets. I guess that’s considered professional.

I never assumed any different. I was left with the impression that Data meant to kill Fajo and would have if the transporter did not take him at that precise time. As Spock would say, “It was quite logical.”

I don’t know. Might have been interesting to meet a post-jail battered Fajo. He was very resouceful and cunning. He could have been involved with Lore somehow.
