Worf wants to whut?
“…my plan to make r’uustai with the boy…”
Is that legal in the 24th century?
“I understand death. They teach us all about it.”
The educational system of the future fascinates me.
Picard is aware of it. I can’t get past all the innuendo in this. I’m so wrong.
Damn, RDM was rough on that kid:

[li]Regarding the possibility of a sequel, Moore commented, “I’ve never felt like I wanted to follow up on Jeremy after “The Bonding”. I’m not against it, but I don’t have any interesting stories to tell with that character.” (AOL chat, 1997)
[/li][li]He later added, “I was not a big fan of the actor playing Jeremy, so in that sense I wasn’t disappointed at all. It would’ve been interesting to continue the relationship on the Enterprise (with a different kid), but at that point in Trek, no one was even willing to think about continuing storylines, so it never came up.” (AOL chat, 1998)

Join the club. :o
“I think somebody needs a hug.”
A big, strong, creepy, alien hug.
“Jeremy, come here.”
I have to kill your mother again.
Oh noes! Run, Jeremy! She wants your precious salt!
Jeremy doesn’t recognize a change. I’ve always wondered about that. Not just in this episode but whenever there is alien abduction/demon possession. This alien is able to mimic that emotional bond with the boy. He doesn’t pick up that it isn’t his mom.
The whole tone of the episode is great, the music and the pacing. It’s eerie.
Arguably, if the illusion is created from his memories of his mother, then it’s exactly what he thinks of when he thinks of his mother.
Even if Ron Moore was less than enthusiastic about it.
This kid is gonna need help after this. Maybe that’s why Deanna gets an office after this.
I love how they just decide that reality is better for this orphaned child. Riker hits it on the nose; they have nothing to offer him.
Apparently, he joins the House of Martok. Nothing better than good old fashioned Klingon therapy.
“I appreciate your motives.”
I love this part of the episode. She is not after anything nefarious. This is Star Trek at its best.
Really? Is that mentioned later?
This isn’t about you, Wesley!
