I have to say: I wholeheartedly agree. She’s hottest when she just looks like the geek from next door. And what’s more: she’s WAY more beautiful than the two blondes, because she’s authentic.

playboy model haydn porter. she hangs out with us on www.sternfannetwork. she was on the stern show about a year ago promoting her playboy stuff. She is a huge star wars geek. - her words.

Actually, I’m more bothered by the fact that someone can make more of a cultural impact, let alone money, dressing up like a character from a 25 year old movie and/or taking one’s clothes off in public than, say, creating works of art.

A cellist who occassionally (and, hopefully increasingly, since she’s really good) plays with my ensemble told me a story about having to play a new piece her senior year which required her to play the cello nude. Not only that, she had to stop between movements and remove her clothes…in front of her teachers and friends. I don’t know how she handled it. That’s not you, is it?

It was just a thing, you know, an inspiration I had years ago … the trickiest part was to figure out that instrument would be best for a striptease and yeah, I guess Cello works just great for that purpose … IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!
In all seriousness, the cello would be an awkward instrument for a nude piece. It covers all the good (or, rather, naughty) bits and it requires a rather unflattering sitting position to play. Any self-respecting composer who writes a nude piece should be scored for voice(s) (or, as in the case with Dutch composer Louis Andriessen’s opera, Rosa, an entire role sung in the nude). Preferrably for singers easy on the eyes (which was not the case in the Andriessen example).
I think there’s a special place in hell for me now. Remind me to grab the marshmallows.
wow, i had never known that such things as nude opera existed until now. i guess the world isn’t really such a bad place after all!
Bad? How can a world that can include stories about the end of the world from the point of view of Norse gods, courtesans, the lower classes giving the proverbial fingers to the ruling elites and giant statues from hell, among many things (psychopaths, sociopaths, sex, etc.) be bad?
