Technically, eating brains is just the zombies from the Return of the Living Dead movies. These are old school Romero-style zombies, so they just eat flesh in general. Zombie senses are a matter of some debate, but it seems like sound and movement attract them more than anything else, so acting like them could (theoretically) work.
