Be careful with the kiddoes Barb. Las Vegas is freaky as some of our schools are 9 month but more than a few are 12 month. I’m always at a loss as to which kids I run into are truants and which ones aren’t.

First off, let me just apologize for being MIA from the boards for the past week+. A key coworker left the job and I’ve had to pick up a lot of slack, so by the time I’ve been getting home recently, I haven’t felt like doing anything but watching video, actually having to come up with content on my own was way too much to handle, but now I’m back.
I just got to watch this week’s episode tonight (well, now it’s the wee hrs of the morning) but anyway here are my thoughts from the episode (before reading the comments already left)…
Doc Cottle taking Natalie’s hand is just another notch on his most awesome scifi doc belt and with what happened when Galactica found the debris field later, it doesn’t seem like Natalie will be resurrecting, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
OK, looking at the “view” Lampkin’s room has, it may seem pretty piss poor (it looked like a 3 square inch window), but after thinking about it, I’ve never seen ANY real view out of Galactica, except for that public viewing area that Dee and Billy went for a date and for the fleet in general, only colonial one and the ship that may or may not have had people looking out the window that Lee blew up early in the series, but never a view of space from inside anyone’s quarters, so that crappy little view is probably CHERISHED space.
MAN, the 6 model is always looking for love, even from Tigh…

OK, I’m back. I like how we all picked up on the fact that somehow Caprica was going to be identified as pregnant from the tease at the end of the previous ep. I guess the final 5 are REAL different, not only able to spawn hybrids (The Chief), but now… I don’t know what to call a Caprica 6 - Tigh baby, Tigh-spawn? Nah.
Wow, I can’t believe I heard the term “banging” come from Admiral Adama.
NOT THE MINIATURE SHIP MODEL AGAIN!!! I love Adama’s comment after it went boom about how many times he’s had to repair it too! I hope that before the series ends, we get to see that ship break again somehow.

I like how this entire episode was beating around the bush about what we all knew was going to happen once Zarek wasn’t recognized by Adama… that Lee Adama would become the next president, thus solidifying even further the ideas brought forth in Baltar’s manifesto about Caprican dynasties, the elite class and especially the Adamas specifically.
I like that Admiral Husker Adama is so badass in his raptor that he’s the only one I can remember who has piloted w/o wearing the internally lit space helmet. He looked sooooo lonely just sitting alone in open space reading his book… waiting…
