S4.E05 PT Frak Party

So Six is merely the dupe in this? That sucks. Now, if Anders had a coming out session with Leoben about Sam’s Cylon-hood…that would have been interesting.

The bad thing is that Leoben is telling the truth about the civil war…and may well meet his old friend Mr. Airlock anyways.

Tori seems to be THE manipulator, though. She’s ordering Baltar around while lying to Specialist Tyrol and more. She seems to be the dark angel or such in this.

Ah, good times. Leoben and Mr. Airlock. I remember those days, all the way back when Starbuck was sane, Chief was normal, and Tigh had both eyes.

And another one bites the dust!

Goodbye Gunny Mathias… :frowning:

Wasn’t she part of Anders’ crue on Caprica?

Nope. She was a marine who got promoted up the ranks from Pegasus if we accept Razor in the canon. She aided Athena as the ground liaison during the storming on New Caprica.

Now back to the Church of the holy Baltar…

Baltar as mega-church preacher. Hmm. The set design is unique on this. It echoes the real-life Central Christian Church, actually, which is located on Russell not far from where my butt is parked in Henderson.

+10 Awesomeness to Chief!!!

Specialist Tyrol playing the part of the angry Ephesian beating on the apostle Paul. Cute yet somewhat direct lift from Paul’s missionary journeys in Acts.

Then he grabs the gun…

Now we see the twisted relationship between Leoben and Starbuck again…

That’s the disturbing thing. Starbuck is not devoted to Apollo or Anders. Starbuck is devoted to Leoben and Leoben alone.

Now, if those two could just get together and go off on a baseship as a happy couple communing with the hybrid…could that be a happy ending?

That ending would leave me crying for weeks. Then I would curl up in a corner in shock and massive amounts of disturbed thoughts.

So…I beginning to think that we are about to meet Admiral Roe Thrace.

As an act-out, I would not have expected Helo pistol-whipping someone. That redshirt mutineer was written just for that to happen, though.

So, what is driving Starbuck in this? Is she driven to complete the mission regardless of the cost due to guilt over the loss of Gunny Mathias? Is she just totally insane? Or is this the sanest and the most human we’ve seen Starbuck since the mini-series?

Well, Starbuck did admire Cain. It seems Starbuck is driven by much the same motivations. This is one of those things that Razor helped set up in the over-arching story, I think.

We might not have Mr. Nice Gaius anymore, but Mr. Touchy-Feely Gaius is creeping me out a little. Will Specialist Tyrol pistol-whip Baltar?

I’m hopeing more bullet whip.

So, who is Kara going to have to shoot? She went right into classic Cain.
