My thoughts exactly and I don’t mind a heavily dialogue-laden movie, if the talking is not 19th century soap-opera-ish. I mean, Arthur Conan Doyle wrote great 19th century stuff, as did Jules Verne and Joseph Conrad.

You took the words right out of my mouth.

[SIZE=2]I was more shocked and worried for Racetrack (not her ECO, though, who was that?) than I was for Cally and Billy together. I actually spoke the words: If they kill Racetrack, I’m through with Battlestar. And yes, when I saw the cockpit crashing on the landing bay, I thought it was a piece of junk anymore. Did they eject?

THAT should be in your signature.

I’m not even gonna mention the 21st century female.
The 21st century female doesn’t fall for the floppy disk trick and is definitely a better dancer than me.

Surprisingly the male hasn’t changed since the Stone Age. That’s being consistent, my brothers!! Keep up the good work.
well, the 70s weren’t that long ago …
what?
Oh, you said “Stone Age”, not … okay, yeah, never mind…

Can you see me plotting an attempt on his life?

Sorry, dude!
Oh but a great shame it is I can’t get the second Bernie movie on DVD. It was even better than the first one.

When Solai and I get together this week at the NYC meetup, will there be some kind of cataclysmic action?

Will there be an AXE bodyspray moment?

There’s a part of me that hopes so and another part that is deathly afraid. There is the power of the one ring that can save us. I hope.

I forgot about that scene. In his reality she is picking him up and holding him so his posture reflects that. No physical manifestation… just freaky Baltar.

Just the same, it looked silly to me. They might of accomplished the same thing with a slightly different shot, a little less rag doll might gone further.

Austen was okay for me until I found out about:

Then it was awesome!

You know what? He is amazing in both films. To me, A&E’s P&P is the GOLD STANDARD for Pride & Prejudice. It’s amazing and Colin Firth smolders on screen as Mr. Darcy. Bridget Jones is an OK adaptation of P&P and it stands on its own as a great romantic comedy. Colin Firth is a wonderful Mark Darcy in it. I would stand in the snow in my skivvies in the middle of a street kissing him ANY DAY!
