I agree also!! What was up with the Boomer/ Cavil Kiss, I think I know what Audra means by Skeevy now.
I was never a fan of Cally, but she deserved a hell of a lot better than that.

It’s so weird to see an episode of doctor who about christmas in April haha
Loved the ads for crappy scifi orginal movies
And who’s ready to start the I hate Tori thread? lol
I’d love to her what the actress, Nicki Clyne, has to say about it. When they off’d Kat, she found out from an outside source.
I’ve never watched Dr. Who before, but I’m really enjoying this episode.
“Ruled over by Good King Wenceslas”…“Worship the god Santa.”
I thought the fisheye leds look was so damn corny, like those 90’s DARE videos “this is what being on drugs looks like woooooooh” so lame. I think anders just needs to pack it in and ask for a divorce, if the tables where turned we would be screaming how stupid kara was to put up with such crap. I hope he and selix hook up she seems sane.
This was probably the darkest episode of the series so far.
Cally was SERIOUSLY the innocence and heart of the show. We grew up with her. When we first met her she was a kid who hated FTL jumps…then we saw her become her own woman…then she’s a Mom…then she’s spaced.
It’s like watching Little House and Laura Ingalls getting eaten by wolves after Nellie decided she wanted to teach in Walnut Grove.
Disturbing.
I think that the jokes on David Eick’s video blog are partly accurate, in that he’s not good about communicating with actors the way an exec producer should. Apparently Ellen’s actor found out she was getting canned through character death when she got the script.
Just checked her blog, last entry was april 10th, talking about her conventions and so forth, I guess we will still see her in flashbacks, and in chiefs head eventually.
What an awesome episode. So many things happening. Starbuck and her crew. The Cylons attacking Cylons. and Tory/Cally. I can’t wait until next week, but first I gotta re-watch.
Later
And she never did get to go to dentistry school.
This whole episode has a dark, almost surreal, david-lynch acid trip feel to it. A real stand-out for me, though the way this season is going, the best is probably still to come.
So, does anyone think that Ronald D. Moore just threw that in there to frak with Audra???
Killing Cally was real disturbing but this new Starbuck, is totally freaking me out.
My stomach churned when I saw that I literately put my hands up and screamed. blahh
I disagree. That was one of the many devices this director used to disorient the audience. You are constantly taken in and out of the scene. It was most disconcerning. I think that was the point.
I would have liked some more conflict with Cally and Sharon. I know there was so much other craappp going down, bu its a character dymanic that really only gets a great deleted scene.
I totally agree. I loved Cally - I thought she had an uncomplicated sweetness to her - in a world full of fraked up characters, she just wanted to live, love her guy, and be a mom - she wasn’t angst-ridden like almost every other character on the show and that made her a welcome relief sometimes.
I couldn’t think of how to describe this episode, then you nailed it…
David Lynch acid trip.
You have a gift Steviespin!!!
I’ve been saying the same thing. I found myself disconnected from what was going on. At first I thought it was the twelve pack of Heineken, but this episode made me disoriented and sick.
Tory must DIE DIE DIE !!! It can’t happen soon enough…
