How awesome is it that you guys have similar viewing preferences with your significant others? 
I gotta admit, she was getting a little tired of Exodus One and Two (after the 45th viewing)…
It is. When we first got married she knew of my passion for all things scifi. She understood the commitment and still wanted to be with me. Bless her. Little did she know, she would be assimilated into the fold. It started slow. I would play reruns of TNG that I taped the night before. She would nonchalantly watch and then slowly began to make comments like, “Picard is awesome.” “Data is cool” and farty noises whenever they showed Deanna’s butt (I particularly liked that one).
She never gets onboard with a show until it meets my approval or I bug her about it long enough. When B5 was on she called it ‘The druggy show’. Farscape had weird puppets. But overtime and as she caught episodes here and there she wanted more. I was more than happy to oblige. At first she didn’t like BSG either. But now she is hooked.
Whoa long answer. Short answer: YES!!
On the other end of the graph, my 12 year old son, who has been resisting all along (even tho I told him that resistance is futile), now wants to do a complete rewatch of BSG with me from the miniseries on…how psyched am I ???
I am into season three of a rewatch with my 13 year old son. It has been ALOT of fun watching him come to his own theories, figuring things out. You are going to have a great time watching with him, Topgun.
I can’t wait for that. My two daughters are 5 an 7. Up til now, it’s been Star Wars and Disney. I can’t wait for them to get into Star Trek and such.

Re-watching last weeks ep. Woo Hoo tonight’s new galactica epi almost here
You’re lucky indeed Topgun. My wife says “what are we doing tonight?” I say “well I don’t know what you’re doing, but I’m watching Battlestar.” She then proceeds to shake her head, lovingly call me a nerd and go in the other room. Which is GREAT with me. It just means I get to watch it with some peace and quiet.
I’m watching Battlestar with my dog. At least he won’t ask me every 5 minutes whats going on like other members of my family who like to walk in and out of the viewing area and expect me to fill them in!
Now, my husand is definatly all-over all things sci-fi. He just doesn’t get very outwardly excited about it. I, however, am doing the “woo-hoo” stuff all day on Friday and wishing work would hurry up and get over so I can go home and watch BSG!
I usually count down on Friday to our close but now its count down to BSG!
Gods - I don’t think I can handle too much more of the Balcubines! I hope they find Baltar and put him somewhere else. Somewhere without the Balcubines. And without that damn Baltar Star.
I like Baltarts myself.
Bummer its not 9:00 yet is it?
