the only episode with a 9.7 is the oath, but i suspect that will fall as more people get to review it - by now im guessing only the hardcore fans who loved the episode have reviewed it.

I think my list (not counting season 4 eps) would be very much like Ron Moore’s, but I would have to add Scar and Malestrom, take off Unfinished Business and Flesh and Bone. (In fairness I have only seen each of those once, and I have seen Scar and Malestrom many more times.)

“Ties that Bind”
I HATE this episode because of what happened to one of my favorite characters, but it was so well done in terms of story, acting, and cinematography that I can easily say it was one of the most solid episodes we’ve seen.
It’s interesting that he chose old episodes. Didn’t look like many recent ones at all. I can see why he wouldn’t choose an episode that hasn’t aired yet, but there are plenty that have.
