sigh We made it. Why must it end?! Have you read any “sequels”? I’m working my way through Mr. Darcy Takes A Wife. Slow going. Nobody writes like Jane.
I have a couple, but haven’t read them yet: Darcy’s Story & Mr Darcy’s Daughters. I’m kind of afraid to read them for just that reason

Just seen. And I heard that the second one is nothing like the book. I should probably add them to my reading list. These homage books & movies areright up my alley. Probably why I love Clueless so much.

If I can summon my powers of recall - at first I thought no, he must have hung himself by then. But now I’m thinking perhaps he did call on them again, and then return home and hang himself. Alas, my powers have failed me. 
FYI- There’s a new modern version of P&P coming, another Chick Lit take I think the title is Pride and Prada, or something like that. Sometimes those versions are fun, sometimes they’re crap.
I haven’t been too thrilled with the post-P&P books out there, mainly because I don’t feel the need to consider their lives after the wedding. I want to keep Darcy and Lizzy’s ever after happy.
