New computer in Jan/Feb...Windows 7 or Mac?

with those two GPUs, I don’t think think resolution will be a problem.

For screen readability and workspace…

Both the Fujistu and Samsung has the same resolution - 1366x768 - that’s why I didn’t include it in the specs. They could be better, but both are adequate for me.

I’m leaning towards the Samsung because of the keyboard, weirdly enough. The placement of the Lifebook keyboard tiles is really problematic, the more I think about it.

So, I’m thinking, if I get some kind of a external cool pad or something, would it help? (or are those things strictly useless gadgets?) I’m pretty sure the Samsung can handle on the go usage without too much heat problems (I played a game on the shop display model for about 20 minutes, and it was still pretty all right); my main concern is when I use it at home/work for long hours, the heat becomes an issue. If I can fix that issues externally, then the Samsung laptop seems to be the best fit. (since I won’t be able to fix the keyboard issue on the Lifebook)

But then again, as hansioux said, Fujitsu is definitely the more established notebook brand, but Samsung seemed to have worked out a lot of its initial problems with its laptops in the last few years.

Big year in PC. Intel has their new chipset/cpu coming out Tuesday and AMD not too far (months?) behind. Did Darth Revan and Coco make their decisions?
