Life is teh suck today because (a.ka. the official B_tch & Moan thread)

Hopefully it will be over on Friday, when we will be making a conference to these people and reading them the riot act. I still, however, have a lot of work to do to guarantee our bagaining strength at that meeting and, depending on the outcome, may have a lot of work to do immediately afterwards. All during a month in which I have a lot of work to take care of as it is.

Oh well!

My cable went out for two hours. Yes, Friday night and during Dollhouse. Strangely a large area lost their cable. I thought the world was coming to an end.

I woke up this morning and couldn’t move my neck or legs, Fiance Yey is heading home from work now to take me to hospital, leeeeetle bit worrying.

Wow such a traumatic event and you think to write us. Sending powerful good wishes. I hope you just slept in an odd way and that caused you to have this problem. You probably know why by now so do write.

The laptop was all I could reach, and had to do something to burn off the worry.

They did an ultrasound and found a bone spur that they’re going to have to operate to get rid of it. I’ve movement in my neck again, but I’m just not strong enough to walk. Fiance Yey is busying around now, and I’m back in the bloody wheelchair.

Annoyed but OK is my current state.

Good to hear the solution is straightforward, or, at least, not a lifetime of strange, complicated cures. Three cheers for Socialized Medicine Yey!

So the bone spur is in your neck and pinched nerves that control your legs? Bones spurs are a pain in my back. I had surgery to remove them and repair a disk. My mother had bone spurs out of her neck that caused pain in her hands. The neck surgery is rather a fast recovery. I am rambling since it is late. Please keep us informed because we do care.

I hope you’re able to have the surgery soon, Miss Monkey! Take care of yourself, okay?

About 8:30 on 10-04-2009, my beautiful puppy Buffy was hit by a car in the street near the house. I was at work, and got the terrible call. I rushed Buffy to an emergency vet in a nearby town, and they took her in. It was very bad, and her prognosis was hopeless, really. They stabilized her long enough so the XO and kids were able to come and say goodbye. It was pretty hard. She passed away in my arms. She wasn’t even a year old. I’m just up now and trying to keep my mind off things and post on different threads and stop crying.

Thanks for all the good thoughts everyone! They definately helped!

That’s terrible :frowning: all good thoughts redirected your way!

Sorry about your loss TG. :frowning: Hope your sad goes away.

I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your dog, Topgun. Thoughts and prayers with you and your family.

Aw man, Doug! I’m am soooo sorry. Much love sending your way.

Ugh! Not THAT again. I’m so sorry to hear that you’re going through this craaaap again, but I hope it’s a relatively easy procedure. Hang in there!

On my front (sort of), a co-worker’s mother is losing her battle with cancer. She says she’s “ready to go home now.” I feel for this colleague and wish her great strength in the days to come.

:frowning:

So sorry, Topgun. :frowning:

Oh Doug. I’m so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Buffy. You, the XO and the boys are in my prayers.

Oh TG, my heart is breaking. I’m glad you all got to be there as a family. God this is just awful. Who’s going to eat your couch now? Thinking of all of you and I’m crying writing this because I know how deeply those precious critters embed themselves in our hearts. Hang in there. XXOO

Good gods, that’s horrible. I’m so sorry to hear that.

I somehow missed the sad news about Buffy - I’m so sorry, Topgun :frowning:

Thank you for the good wishes everyone. It meant a lot. I just came in from burying Buffy the dog, with her favorite soccer ball.
Thanks again everyone.
