I love that moment when the brit sailors notice that Hornblower is a fellow Brit and they immediate follow his orders.

Hornblower is thinking “Oh yes, a great loss…so sad that that douchebag who was married to the woman I love is dead. I’m totally broken up.”
And I love the ending. Why?
Because it is ALWAYS a love story!! 
It reminded me of a Gone With The Wind when he actually gets the woman in the end.

lol - The Admiralty in the movie sure had a IYKWIM moment! Unfortunately it was about another Admiral’s wife (The other admiral was even in the room at the time)!
