I think when I first saw this movie I was dating a girl named Barbara, or had just broken up with her …So the “name” Barbara was a little bit raw for me.

After reading a few Honor Harrington books. Lady Wellington or Lady Barbara makes more sense to me. But if he is just calling her Barbara, that is a breach of formal decorum. ESPECIALLY for a naval officer.
