I want Proof you're a Geek!!!

Teen Titans was the closest to japanese anime we got for the US market. Right up to the Japanese pop singing duo doing the theme. DBZ and the like have American voice talent. But they were made for the Asian market. TT was made for the US considering who they based it on.

I now put on my flame suit in preparation for all the reasons why I’m wrong.

P.S. I really miss it to.

I miss ST:E. :frowning: There was a deal to open a new one in LV but that’s dead now too: http://trekmovie.com/2011/04/21/no-progress-on-bringing-star-trek-the-experience-back-to-las-vegas/ .

My ST:E photo album is here: http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/ee99/Gryper_1987/Star%20Trek%20The%20Experience%202007/

I have a few Quarks matchbooks, if anyone wants one PM me.

Ever see Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi? That’s the animated adventures of the Japanese pop duo who sang the TT theme. Worth a look if you like quirky, or cute!

Yes I did see that show. I had forgotten about it. I think it was done by the same people.

besides from stylistically being similar to anime, it also deals with very serious themes while maintaining to be kid friendly and hilarious.

The whole Terra arc was done beautifully. In fact, I am really amazed that there was an over all arch running through every season.

I have a hard time watching Ben 10 now, because everytime I see it I wish I am watching new episodes of Teen Titans…

It doesn’t really translate to picture well, but my text message alert is the TARDIS sound, ringtone is Dr. Who theme song, and I have a sonic screwdriver app. I’m on a Dr. Who kick lately, can ya tell?

Nah, not much.

Well if we were in the same room and one of us got a call on our cell phones then it might get confusing

I do think I need to change my text message alert to the old star trek whistle.
