This is how it happens–> “it,” here, is Pike Starts Writing MLP Fanfic, right?
Clop clop clop…
Frighteningly, I’d read it if you posted it.
Dammit, Badger! You spoiled my Frak Party pic for next week!
Oh well, I used the other one in this article already.
Here’s more of the creativity of the bronies:
Another MLP fan game that’s in the works. This one’s a 2D RPG.
MLP featured on this week’s Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me as the true story in the regular feature Bluff the Listener.
Yeah, there’s some grumbling about that. The guy who was quoted for the answer runs one of the bigger fan sites and wasn’t happy with the tone of the interview. Plus they got a dig in about bronies being unemployed (which is often true, as many of them are in college.)
Anyhoo, the bronie gamers are keeping at it. Here’s a functioning MLP/Starcraft II (conversion? skin? I dunno.)

You can apparently D/L it here, so if you’re into Starcraft and want to try out a sonic rainboom, have at it.
The tone was totally snarky. This is something that actually bugs me about Peter Sagal. He’s a HUGE nerd but often pokes kind-of-not-nice-fun at other huge nerds, especially those who nerd out on different franchises and topics.
The interview w Simon Pegg following that segment was good, though.
Yeah, it’s sort of the nature of the show. I sent him a disappointed tweet anyways.
Yet another game is in the works. This one is a fighting game. Maybe not quite in keeping with the show’s message, but Applejack looks like a badass.

ETA: Apparently MLP’s director is eager to play this game.
EVE online newest expansion has a MLP link. Who knew?
Allons-y!

This guy is unrelated to the people doing the earlier Doctor Whooves video.

Super Fluttershy Land 2 is ready for download (see vid description for details)
Here’s a flash-based Nintendo-style MLP game you can play in your browser:
And here’s Yale examining the probably Fair Use defense of a brony YouTube vid.
Bill Clinton’s ‘My Little Pony’ quiz
http://www.politico.com/blogs/click/0611/Bill_Clintons_My_Little_Pony_quiz.html
"Host Peter Sagal introduced the segment saying, “So you’re a former president, you’re a Rhodes scholar, you’re famously well informed. What could we be sure that an accomplished person like you would know nothing about? And then the answer came to us: the TV show ‘My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.’”
Clinton wasn’t stumped by the multiple choice quiz and correctly identified the ponies’ worst enemy and the special talent of a pony named Rarity."
I don’t even know their “worst” enemy.
That was WWDTM’s attempted Mea Culpa after the previous week (Peter found out that a lot of his fans were bronies.) They softballed the questions and totally blew the Rarity one (Makeovers? She’s a fashionista!)
Anyhoo, I see Badger’s Pinkie, and raise.
Here’s a brief look into how a scene comes together from a FiM animator.

And here’s a short bit about the voice acting that appears to have been leaked (future DVD extra?) Twilight’s voice actor works out of LA, so Rarity’s actor subs her lines for the group recording.

Also, July 15th is Brony Appreciation Day. Mark your calendars!
Here’s a nice D&D-centric analysis of the mane ponies. (Click “Newer Post” for the more recent entries.)
There’s also a Giants in the Playground forum thread about creating MLP-based characters.
There’s yet another pony Flash game. This one shares the name of an earlier, cruder game: Rainbow Dash Attack.
Those of you in NYC should start seeing MLP toys in Forbidden Planet soon (or now, it’s unclear.)
