I think I would have liked it better if she had lived as a regular human, and not been attacked by a viral. I did not see the twist coming of her being a soldier in the Texas Army (love that Texas broke off from the US, haha!)

I think what resonates with me about Alicia is that she constantly puts what she wants behind the needs of others, which makes her cold and hostile. In a way she’s kind of what Spider-Man should feel like if he didn’t get so much gradification out of his job. She’s a warrior through and through but she also is a human who from an early age has been forced to give things up to become a badass. War is a lonely profession and she knows little else.
