Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone 7/2 @ 10 PM ET

Speaking of Aliens (No no one was speaking of Aliens) there is everyones favorite exploding chest John Hurt

Actually I sound like Khan…again.

Olivanders, makers of fine wands

 since 382 BC

Is that in the family or the same guy…

My favorite HP line ever: I think it is clear… that we can expect great things from you.

Now, Ollivander’s shop and Ollivander himself are “right” in my opinion. The filmakers did a good job there. As Badger says, I take this “very seriously.”

Nearly Headless Nick’s deathday anniversary was on October 31, 1992. That was in CoS so this movie should be 91’ thru 92’.

I also wonder if every customer of Olivander’s shoots up the place…

Awesome. I loved your Khan.

Baby Harry was so cute my biological clock just went a bit wonky!

To a very scary degree that I didn’t even realize.

I’m actually a little frightened right now.

Well it had to have stayed in business (and the building still standing) since 385 BC somehow!

What exactly is our major malfunction anyway? Who does this?!
Talos was a complete pro, as always.

Put it in your siggy!

I love the Weasleys, especially Fred and George.

Why must Voldemort not be named? How badsorryBarb could he be? He couldn’t even kill a defenseless little baby.

Not in the books. Nothing happens. But for the movie’s sake, it’s more interesting to have stuff happen.

While Ollivander is great, the Weasly twins are so perfect it is scary.

My visit to platform 9 3/4.

The wife and I’ve been to platform 9 3/4. The have a cart sticking out the wall so people can take pictures. There was a gaggle of American college girls there when we arrived…

Did you read the books? There’s so much more to them in the books.
